When I was a little girl I used to love playing dress up. Half the fun of belly dance is the costuming. When I get into my belly dance outfit and makeup in preparation for a performance, I'm no longer a retired teacher with 7 grandchildren; It's like changing into a superhero! I go into the changing room as Connie and come out as Sheherazade!
